On the 19th June 2023, Anna was pleased to represent the Family Mediators Association at the Justice Select Committee. She was invited as current chair of the FMA to give evidence on the Government’s consultation on supporting earlier resolution of private family law arrangements.
Anna appeared alongside Caroline Bowden (Family Mediation Council); Nicole Jacobs (Domestic Abuse Commissioner for England and Wales) and Jacky Tiotto (Chief Executive of CAFCASS).
This consultation provides the opportunity for radical change to move family differences away from adversarial conflict and the court system and to substantially increase the use of mediation for separated families.
